Help Turning On Javascript Instructions

Please follow these instructions to turn on Javascript. It is normal to have Javascript turned on and you will probably experience alot of problems on the web without it enabled. You may need to speak to your IT department if your configuration options are disabled.

Internet Explorer (6.0)

  1. Start Internet Explorer 6
  2. Select 'Tools' from the top menu.
  3. Choose 'Internet Options'. The Internet Options dialog opens.
  4. Click on the 'Security' tab.
  5. Click on 'Custom Level'.
  6. Scroll down until you see section labled 'Scripting'.
  7. Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click OK.
  8. Click OK in the Security Settings dialog. The Security Settings dialog closes.
  9. Click OK in the Internet Options dialog. The Internet Options dialog closes.
  10. Exit Internet Explorer 6 and then restart it. Javascript is now enabled.

Internet Explorer (7.0)

  1. Start internet Explorer 7.
  2. In the Internet Explorer menu, select 'Tools'.
  3. Select 'Internet Options'. The Internet Options dialog opens.
  4. Select the 'Security' tab.
  5. Click on 'Custom Level'.
  6. Scroll down until you see section labled 'Scripting'.
  7. Click OK in the Security Settings dialog. The Security Settings dialog closes.
  8. Click OK in the Internet Options dialog. The Internet Options dialog closes.
  9. Exit Internet Explorer 7 and then restart it. Javascript is now enabled.

Firefox

  1. Start Firefox.
  2. Click 'Tools' in the top bar of the browser.
  3. Click 'Options' from the drop down.
  4. Click the 'Content' tab from the pop up.
  5. Make sure the 'Enable Javascript' box is ticked. If not tick it and press ok.
  6. Refresh the page and Javascript should now be turned on.

If you still cannot find Javascript configuration options, please speak to your IT department.
